Section 67 Contract Act 1872 :Effect of neglect of promisee to afford promisor reasonable facilities for performance -- If any promisee neglects or refuses to afford the promisor reasonable facilities for the performance of his promise, the promisor is excused by such neglect or refusal as to any non-performance caused thereby.

Illustration

A contract with B to repair B's house. B neglects or refuses to point out to A the places in which his house requires repair. A is 'excused for the non-performance of the contract, if it is caused by such neglect or refusal.

भारतीय संविदा अधिनियम, 1872 की धारा 67 का विवरण :  -  पालन के लिए युक्तियुक्त सौकर्य वचनदाता को देने में वचनग्रहीता की उपेक्षा का प्रभाव -- यदि कोई वचनग्रहिता किसी वचनदाता को उसके वचन के पालन के लिए युक्तियुक्त सौकर्य देने में उपेक्षा या देने से इन्कार करे तो एतद्द्वारा कारित किसी भी अपालन के बारे में ऐसी उपेक्षा या इन्कार के कारण वचनदाता की माफी हो जाती है।

दृष्टान्त

'ख' के गृह की मरम्मत करने की ‘ख' से 'क' संविदा करता है। जिन स्थानों में उसके गृह की मरम्मत अपेक्षित है, ‘ख’ उन्हें 'क' को बताने में उपेक्षा या बताने से इन्कार करता है। संविदा के अपालन के लिए 'क' की माफी हो जाती है, यदि वह ऐसी उपेक्षा या इन्कार से कारित हुआ हो।
