Section 172 The Army Act, 1950  :Conveyance of prisoner from place to place. A person under sentence of transportation or imprisonment may during his conveyance from place to place, or when on board ship, aircraft, or otherwise, be subjected to such restraint as is necessary for his safe conduct and removal.

सेना अधिनियम, 1950 की धारा 172 का विवरण :  -  कैदी का स्थान-स्थान को प्रवहण - जो व्यक्ति निर्वासन या कारावास के दण्डादेश के अधीन है वह एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान को अपने प्रवहण के दौरान या उस दशा में जिसमें वह पोत या वायुयान के फलक पर या अन्यथा, ऐसे अवरोध के अध्यधीन किया जा सकेगा, जो उसके सुरक्षित रूप से ले जाए जाने और अपसारण के लिए आवश्यक हो।
