Section 119 The Army Act, 1950 in Hindi and English 



Section 119 The Army Act, 1950  :Powers of district courts- martial. A district court- martial shall have power to try any person subject to this Act other than an officer or a junior commissioned officer for any offence made punishable therein, and to pass any sentence authorised by this Act other than a sentence of death, transportation, or imprisonment for a term exceeding two years: Provided that a district court- martial shall not sentence a warrant officer to imprisonment.

सेना अधिनियम, 1950 की धारा 119 का विवरण :  - डिस्ट्रिक्ट सेना-न्यायालयों की शक्तियां - डिस्ट्रिक्ट सेना-न्यायालय को आफिसर या कनिष्ठ आयुक्त आफिसर से भिन्न इस अधिनियम के अध्यधीन के किसी व्यक्ति के, ऐसे अपराध के लिए, जो उसमें दंडनीय किया गया है, विचारण करने की तथा इस अधिनियम द्वारा प्राधिकृत कोई ऐसा दंडादेश पारित करने की जो मृत्यु, निर्वासन या दो वर्ष से अधिक की अवधि के कारावास के दंडादेश से भिन्न है, शक्ति होगी:


परन्तु डिस्ट्रिक्ट सेना - न्यायालय किसी वारण्ट आफिसर को कारावास का दंडादेश नहीं देगा।
