Section 6 Contract Act 1872 : Revocation how made -- A proposal is revoked

(1) by the communication of notice of revocation by the proposer to the other party;

(2) by the lapse of the time prescribed in such proposal for its acceptance, or, if no time is so prescribed, by the lapse of a reasonable time, without communication of the acceptance;

(3) by the failure of the acceptor to fulfil a condition precedent to acceptance; or

(4) by the death or insanity of the proposer, if the fact of his death or insanity comes to the knowledge of the acceptor before acceptance.

भारतीय संविदा अधिनियम, 1872 की धारा 6 का विवरण :  -   प्रतिसंहरण कैसे किया जाता है -- प्रस्थापना का प्रतिसंहरण हो जाता है --

(1) प्रस्थापक द्वारा दूसरे पक्षकार को प्रतिसंहरण की सूचना के संसूचित किए जाने से

(2) ऐसी प्रस्थापना में उसके प्रतिग्रहण के लिए विहित समय के बीत जाने से या यदि कोई समय इस प्रकार विहित न हो तो प्रतिग्रहण की सूचना के बिना युक्तियुक्त समय बीत जाने से;

(3) प्रतिग्रहण की किसी पुरोभाव्य शर्त को पूरा करने में प्रतिगृहीता की असफलता से; अथवा

(4) प्रस्थापक की मृत्यु या उन्मत्तता से, यदि उसकी मृत्यु या उन्मत्तता का तथ्य प्रतिगृहीता के ज्ञान में प्रतिग्रहण से पूर्व आ जाए।
