Section 53 The Army Act, 1950  :Extortion and corruption. Any person subject to this Act who commits any of the following

offences, that is to say,-

(a) commits extortion; or

(b) without proper authority exacts from any person money, provisions or service; shall, on conviction

by court- martial, be liable to suffer imprisonment for a term which may extend to ten years or such

less punishment as is in this Act mentioned.

सेना अधिनियम, 1950 की धारा 53 का विवरण :  - उद्दापन और भ्रष्टाचार - इस अधिनियम के अध्यधीन का कोई व्यक्ति, जो निम्नलिखित अपराधों में से कोई अपराध करेगा, अर्थात्;-

(क) उद्दापन करेगा, अथवा

(ख) उचित प्राधिकार के बिना किसी व्यक्ति से धन, रसद या सेवा का आहरण के अधीन होगा,

सेना-न्यायालय द्वारा दोषसिद्धि पर कारावास, जिसकी अवधि दस वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, या ऐसा लघुतर दंड, जो इस अधिनियम में वर्णित है, भोगने के दायित्व के अधीन होगा।
