Section 50 Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 :The indorsement of a negotiable instrument followed by delivery transfers to the indorsee the property therein with the right of further negotiation, but the indorsement may hy express words, restrict or exclude such right, or may merely constitute the indorsee an agent to indorse the instrume, . or to receive its contents for the indorser, or for some other specified person.

Illustrations

B signs the following indorsements on different negotiable instruments payable to bearer -

(a) “Pay the contents to C only;"

(b) "Pay C for my use."

(c) “Pay C or order for the account of B."

(d) “The within must be credited to C."

These indorsements exclude the right of further negotiation by C

(e) "Pay C." 

(f) "Pay C value in account with the Oriental Bank."

(g) “Pay the contents to C, being part of the consideration in a certain deed of assignment executed by C to the indorser and others."

These indorsements do not exclude the right of further negotiations by C.

परक्राम्य लिखत अधिनियम, 1881 की धारा 50 का विवरण :  - परक्राम्य लिखत का पृष्ठांकन तत्पश्चात् परिदान होने पर उसमें की सम्पत्ति पृष्ठांकिती को आगे के परक्रामण के अधिकार सहित अन्तरित कर देता है किन्तु पृष्ठांकन अभिव्यक्त शब्दों द्वारा ऐसा अधिकार निर्बन्धित या अपवर्जित कर सकेगा अथवा पृष्ठांकिती को लिखत का पृष्ठांकन करने का या पृष्ठांकक के लिए या किसी अन्य विनिर्दिष्ट व्यक्ति के लिए उसकी अन्तर्वस्तुएं प्राप्त करने को केवल अभिकर्ता बना सकेगा ।

दृष्टान्त

ख वाहक को देय विभिन्न परक्राम्य लिखतों पर निम्नलिखित पृष्ठांकन हस्ताक्षरित करता है -

(क) “अन्तर्वस्तुओं का संदाय केवल ग को करो ।"

(ख) “मेरे उपयोग के लिए ग को संदाय करो ।"

(ग) “ख के लेखे ग को या आदेशानुसार संदाय करो ।"

(घ) “इसकी अन्तर्वस्तुएं ग के नाम जमा कर दो ।"

ग द्वारा आगे के परक्रामण का अधिकार इन पृष्ठांकनों से अपवर्जित है ।

(ङ) “ग को संदाय करो ।"

(च) “ओरिएंटल बैंक में ग के खाते में इनका मूल्य जमा कर दो ।"

(छ) “पृष्ठांकक और अन्यों को ग ने जो समनुदेशन विलेख निष्पादित किया है उसके प्रतिफल के भागस्वरूप ग को इसकी अन्तर्वस्तुओं का संदाय करो ।"

ग द्वारा आगे के परक्रामण के अधिकार को ये पृष्ठांकन अपवर्जित नहीं करते हैं ।
