Section 46 Contract Act 1872 :Time for performance of promise, where no application is to be made and no time is specified - Where, by the contract, a promisor is to perform his promise without application by the promisee, and no time for performance is specified, the engagement must be performed within a reasonable time.

Explanation - The question "what is a reasonable time” is, in each particular case, a question of fact.

भारतीय संविदा अधिनियम, 1872 की धारा 46 का विवरण :  -  वचन पालन के लिए समय, जहाँ कि पालन के लिए आवेदन न किया जाना हो और कोई समय विनिर्दिष्ट न हो -- जहाँ कि संविदा के अनुसार वचनदाता को अपने वचन का पालन वचनग्रहीता द्वारा आवेदन किए जाने के बिना करना हो और पालन के लिए कोई समय विनिर्दिष्ट न हो वहाँ वचनबन्ध का पालन युक्तियुक्त समय के भीतर करना होगा।
