Section 39 Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 :When the holder of an accepted bill of exchange enters into any contract with the acceptor which, under section 134 or 135 of the Indian ContractAct, 1872 (9 of 1872), would discharge the other parties, the holder may expressly reserve his right to charge the other parties, and in such case they are not discharged.

परक्राम्य लिखत अधिनियम, 1881 की धारा 39 का विवरण : - जब कि प्रतिगृहीत विनिमय-पत्र का धारक प्रतिगृहीता से कोई ऐसी संविदा कर लेता है जिससे अन्य पक्षकार भारतीय संविदा अधिनियम, 1872 की धारा 134 या 135 के अधीन उन्मोचित हो जाते हों तब तक धारक अन्य पक्षकारों को भारित करने का अपना अधिकार अभिव्यक्ततः आरक्षित रख सकेगा और ऐसी दशा में वे उन्मोचित नहीं होते हैं।
