Section 30 Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 : The drawer of a bill of exchange or cheque is bound in case of dishonor by the drawee or acceptor thereof, to compensate the holder, provided due notice of dishonor has been given to, or received by, the drawer as hereinafter provided.

परक्राम्य लिखत अधिनियम, 1881 की धारा 30 का विवरण :  -  विनिमय-पत्र या चैक को लेखीवाल उसके ऊपरवाल या प्रतिगृहीता द्वारा उसके अनादृत किए जाने पर उसके धारक को प्रतिकर देने के लिए आबद्ध है, परन्तु यह तब जब कि लेखीवाल को अनादर की सम्यक् सूचना एतस्मिन पश्चात् उपबंधित रूप में दे दी गई या प्राप्त की गई हो ।
