Section 29 Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 :A legal representative of a deceased person who signs his name to a promissory note, bill of exchange or cheque is liable personally thereon unless he expressly limits his liability to the extent of the assets received by him as such.

परक्राम्य लिखत अधिनियम, 1881 की धारा 29 का विवरण :  -  मृतक व्यक्ति को जो विधिक प्रतिनिधि वचन-पत्र, विनिमय पत्र या चैक या अपना नाम हस्ताक्षर करता है वह उस पर वैयक्तिक रूप से दायी है जब तक कि वह अपना दायित्व अपनी उस हैसियत में उसे प्राप्त आस्तियों के विस्तार तक अभिव्यक्ततः परिसीमित न कर ले ।
