Section 24 Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 :In calculating the date at which a promissory note or bill of exchange made payable a certain number of days after date or after sight or after a certain event is at maturity, the day of the date, or of presentment for acceptance or sight, or of protest for non-acceptance, or on which the event happens, shall be excluded.

परक्राम्य लिखत अधिनियम, 1881 की धारा 24 का विवरण :  -  उस तारीख की गणना करने में, जिसको वह वचन-पत्र या विनिमय-पत्र जो ऐसे रचित है कि वह तारीख से या दर्शन से या किसी निश्चित घटना से दिनों की निश्चित संख्या के पश्चात् देय है, परिपक्व हो जाता है, उस तारीख का या प्रतिग्रहण या दर्शन के लिए उपस्थापित करने का या अप्रतिग्रहण के लिए प्रसाक्ष्य का दिन या वह दिन, जिस दिन वह घटना घटित होती है, अपवर्जित कर दिया जाएगा ।
