Section 236 Contract Act 1872 :Person falsely contracting as agent, not entitled to performance - A person with whom a contract has been entered into in the character of agent, is not entitled to require the performance of it, if he was in reality acting, not as agent, but on his own account.

भारतीय संविदा अधिनियम, 1872 की धारा 236 का विवरण :  -  मिथ्या रूप से अभिकर्ता के तौर पर संविदा करने वाला व्यक्ति पालन कराने का हकदार नहीं है -- वह व्यक्ति, जिससे अभिकर्ता की हैसियत में संविदा की गई है, उसके पालन की अपेक्षा करने का हकदार नहीं है, यदि वह वास्तव में अभिकर्ता के तौर पर नहीं, वरन् स्वयं अपने लेख्ने कार्य कर रहा था।
