Section 131 Evidence Act 1872 :Production of documents or electronic records which another person, having possession, could refuse to produce -- No one shall be compelled to produce documents in his possession or electronic records under his control, which any other person would  be entitled to refuse to produce if they were in his possession or control, unless such last mentioned person consents to their production.

भारतीय साक्ष्य अधिनियम, 1872 की धारा 131 का विवरण :  -   ऐसे दस्तावेजों या इलेक्ट्रानिक अभिलेखों का पेश किया जाना, जिन्हें कोई दूसरा व्यक्ति, जिसका उन पर कब्जा है, पेश करने से इंकार कर सकता था -- कोई भी व्यक्ति, अपने कब्जे में की ऐसे दस्तावेजों या अपने नियंत्रण वाले इलेक्ट्रानिक अभिलेखों को पेश करने के लिए, जिनको पेश करने के लिए कोई ना अन्य व्यक्ति, यदि वे उसके कब्जे या नियंत्रण में होते, पेश करने से इंकार करने का हकदार होता, विवश नहीं किया जाएगा, जब तक कि ऐसा अंतिम वर्णित व्यक्ति उन्हें पेश करने के लिए सहमति नहीं देता।
