Section 104A Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 :For the purposes of this Act, where a bill of note is required to be protested within a specified time or before some further proceeding is taken, it is sufficient that the bill has been noted for protest before the expiration of the specified time or the taking of the proceeding; and the formal protest may be extended at any time thereafter as of the date of the noting.

परक्राम्य लिखत अधिनियम, 1881 की धारा 104 क का विवरण :  - इस अधिनियम के प्रयोजनों के लिए जहाँ कि विनिमय-पत्र या वचन-पत्र के लिए यह अपेक्षित है कि वह एक विनिर्दिष्ट समय के अंदर या आगे कोई और कार्यवाही की जाने से पूर्व प्रसाक्ष्यित कराया जाए वहाँ यह पर्याप्त है कि वह विनिमय-पत्र विनिर्दिष्ट समय के अवसान से पूर्व या कार्यवाही करने के पूर्व प्रसाक्ष्य के लिए टिप्पणित कर दिया जाए और तत्पश्चात् किसी भी समय प्ररूपित प्रसाक्ष्य टिप्पण की तारीख को किए गए के तौर पर पूरा किया जा सकेगा ।
