 Section 56 Semiconductor Integrated Circuits Layout-Design Act, 2000: 


Penalty for infringement of layout-design.—Any person who contravenes knowingly and wilfully any of the provisions of section 18 shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine which shall not be less than fifty thousand rupees but which may extend to ten lakh rupees, or with both.
