Section 48 The Trade Marks Act, 1999: 

Registered users.—

(1) Subject to the provisions of section 49, a person other than the registered proprietor of a trade mark may be registered as a registered user thereof in respect of any or all of the goods or services in respect of which the trade mark is registered.

(2) The permitted use of a trade mark shall be deemed to be used by the proprietor thereof, and shall be deemed not to be used by a person other than the proprietor, for the purposes of section 47 or for any other purpose for which such use is material under this Act or any other law.

व्यापार चिह्न अधिनियम, 1999 की धारा 48 का विवरण : 

 रजिस्ट्रीकृत उपयोक्ता-(1) धारा 49 के उपबंधों के अधीन किसी व्यापार चिह्न के रजिस्ट्रीकृत स्वत्वधारी से भिन्न कोई व्यक्ति उन सभी या किन्हीं माल या सेवाओं की बाबत जिसकी बाबत वह व्यापार चिह्न रजिस्ट्रीकृत है, उसके रजिस्ट्रीकृत उपयोक्ता के रूप में रजिस्ट्रीकृत किया जा सकेगा ।

(2) धारा 47 के प्रयोजनार्थ या किसी अन्य प्रयोजन के लिए जिसके लिए, ऐसा उपयोग इस अधिनियम या किसी अन्य विधि के अधीन तात्त्विक है, व्यापार चिह्न का अनुज्ञात उपयोग उसके स्वत्वधारी द्वारा उपयोग किया गया समझा जाएगा और यह समझा जाएगा कि वह स्वत्वधारी से भिन्न किसी व्यक्ति द्वारा उपयोग नहीं किया जाएगा ।
