Section 70 The Trade Marks Act, 1999: 

Registration of certification trade marks.—A mark shall not be registrable as a certification trade mark in the name of a person who carries on a trade in goods of the kind certified or a trade of the provision of services of the kind certified.

 प्रमाणीकरण व्यापार चिह्नों का रजिस्ट्रीकरण-कोई चिह्न उस व्यक्ति के नाम में प्रमाणीकरण व्यापार चिह्न के रूप में रजिस्टर नहीं किया जाएगा जो प्रमाणीकृत प्रकार के माल या प्रमाणीकृत प्रकार की सेवाओं की व्यवस्था का व्यापार करता है ।
