Section 88 of CrPC 1973 :- 88. Power to take bond for appearance — When any person for whose appearance or arrest the officer presiding in any Court is empowered to issue a summons or warrant, is present in such Court, such officer may require such person to execute a bond, with or without sureties, for his appearance in such Court, or any other Court to which the case may be transferred for trial.

दंड प्रक्रिया संहिता 1973 की धारा 88 का विवरण :  -  

88. हाजिरी के लिए बंधपत्र लेने की शक्ति -- जब कोई व्यक्ति, जिसकी हाजिरी या गिरफ्तारी के लिए किसी न्यायालय का पीठासीन अधिकारी समन या वारण्ट जारी करने के लिए सशक्त है, ऐसे न्यायालय में उपस्थित है तब वह अधिकारी उस व्यक्ति से अपेक्षा कर सकता है कि वह उस न्यायालय में या किसी अन्य न्यायालय में, जिसको मामला विचारण के लिए अंतरित किया जाता है, अपनी हाजिरी के लिए बंधपत्र, प्रतिभुओं सहित या रहित निष्पादित करे।
