Section 69 Evidence Act 1872 : Proof where no attesting witness found -- If no such attesting witness can be found, or if the document purports to have been executed in the United Kingdom, it must be proved that the attestation of one attesting witness at least is in his handwriting, and that the signature of the person executing the document is in the handwriting of that person.

भारतीय साक्ष्य अधिनियम, 1872 की धारा 69 का विवरण : - जब किसी भी अनुप्रमाणक साक्षी का पता न चले, तब सबूत -- यदि ऐसे किसी अनुप्रमाणक साक्षी का पता न चल सके अथवा यदि दस्तावेज का यूनाइटेड किंगडम में निष्पादित होना तात्पर्यित हो तो यह साबित करना होगा कि कम से कम एक अनुप्रमाणक साक्षी का अनुप्रमाण उसी के हस्तलेख में है, तथा यह कि दस्तावेज का निष्पादन करने वाले व्यक्ति का हस्ताक्षर उसी व्यक्ति के हस्तलेख में है।
