Section 5 of MV Act 1988 :-  Responsibility of owners of motor vehicles for contravention of sections 3 and 4 -- No owner or person in charge of a motor vehicle shall cause or permit any person who does not satisfy the provisions of section 3 or section 4 to drive the vehicle.

मोटर यान अधिनियम, 1988 की धारा 5 का विवरण :  -   धारा 3 और धारा 4 के उल्लंघन के लिए मोटर यानों के स्वामियों का उत्तरदायित्व -- मोटर यान का कोई भी स्वामी या भारसाधक व्यक्ति ऐसे किसी व्यक्ति से, जो धारा 3 या धारा 4 के उपबंधों की पूर्ति नहीं करता है, न तो यान चलवाएगा न उसे चलाने की अनुज्ञा देगा ।
