Section 40 Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 in Hindi and English



Section 40 of MV Act 1988 :-  Registration, where to be made -- Subject to the provisions of section 42, section 43 and section 60, every owner of a motor vehicle shall cause the vehicle to be registered by [any registering authority in the State] in whose jurisdiction he has the residence or place of business where the vehicle is normally kept.

मोटर यान अधिनियम, 1988 की धारा 40 का विवरण :  -  रजिस्ट्रीकरण कहां किया जाना है -- धारा 42, धारा 43 और धारा 60 के उपबंधों के अधीन रहते हुए, प्रत्येक मोटर यान का स्वामी यान को उस राज्य में कोई रजिस्ट्रीकर्ता प्राधिकारी से रजिस्टर करवाएगा जिसकी अधिकारिता में उसका निवास स्थान या कारबार का स्थान है जहां कि यान आमतौर पर रखा जाता है ।
