Section 39 Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 in Hindi and English



Section 39 of MV Act 1988 :-  Necessity for registration -- No person shall drive any motor vehicle and no owner of a motor vehicle shall cause or permit the vehicle to be driven in any public place or in any other place unless the vehicle is registered in accordance with this Chapter and the certificate of registration of the vehicle has not been suspended or canceled and the vehicle carries a registration mark displayed in the prescribed manner :

Provided that nothing in this section shall apply to a motor vehicle in possession of a dealer subject to such conditions as may be prescribed by the Central Government.

मोटर यान अधिनियम, 1988 की धारा 39 का विवरण :  -   रजिस्ट्रीकरण की आवश्यकता -- किसी सार्वजनिक स्थान में अथवा किसी अन्य स्थान में किसी मोटर यान को कोई व्यक्ति तभी चलाएगा और कोई मोटर यान का स्वामी तभी चलवाएगा या चलाने की अनुज्ञा देगा जब वह यान इस अध्याय के अनुसार रजिस्ट्रीकृत हो तथा यान का रजिस्ट्रीकरण प्रमाण-पत्र निलंबित या रद्द न किया गया हो और यान पर रजिस्ट्रीकरण चिन्ह विहित रीति से प्रदर्शित हो :

परन्तु इस धारा की कोई बात ऐसी शर्तों के अधीन रहते हुए जो केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा विहित की जाएं किसी व्यवहारी के कब्जे में के मोटर यान को लागू नहीं होगी ।
