Section 33 Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 in Hindi and English

Section 33 of MV Act 1988 :-  Orders refusing, etc., conductor's licences and appeals therefrom -- (1) Where a licensing authority refuses to issue or renew, or revokes any conductor's licence, it shall do so by an order communicated to the applicant or the holder, as the case may be, giving the reasons in writing for such refusal or revocation.

(2) Any person aggrieved by an order made under sub-section (1) may, within thirty days of the service on him of the order, appeal to the prescribed authority which shall decide the appeal after giving, such person and the authority which made the order an opportunity of being heard and the decision of the appellate authority shall be binding on the authority which made the order.

मोटर यान अधिनियम, 1988 की धारा 33 का विवरण :  -   कंडक्टर अनुज्ञप्तियों से इंकार आदि करने वाले आदेश तथा उनसे अपीलें -- (1) जब अनुज्ञापन प्राधिकारी कंडक्टर अनुज्ञप्ति देने से या उसका नवीकरण करने से इंकार करता है या उसे प्रतिसंहृत करता है तब वह आदेश द्वारा ऐसा करेगा जिसकी संसूचना, यथास्थिति, आवेदक या धारक को दी जाएगी और जिसमें ऐसे इंकार या प्रतिसंहरण के कारण लिखित रूप में दिए जाएंगे।

(2) उपधारा (1) के अधीन दिए गए आदेश से व्यथित कोई व्यक्ति अपने पर आदेश की तामील होने के तीस दिन के भीतर विहित प्राधिकारी को अपील कर सकेगा, जो ऐसे व्यक्ति और उस प्राधिकारी को, जिसने आदेश दिया है, सुनवाई का अवसर देने के पश्चात् अपील का विनिश्चय करेगा और अपील प्राधिकारी का विनिश्चय, उस प्राधिकारी पर आबद्धकर होगा, जिसने वह आदेश दिया था ।
