Section 316 of CrPC 1973 :- 316. No influence to be used to induce disclosure — Except as provided in sections 306 and 307, no influence by means of any promise or threat or otherwise, shall be used to an accused person to induce him to disclose or withhold any matter within his knowledge.

दंड प्रक्रिया संहिता 1973 की धारा 1 का विवरण :  -  316. प्रकटन उत्प्रेरित करने के लिए किसी असर का काम में न लाया जाना -- धारा 306 और 307 में जैसा उपबंधित है उसके सिवाय, किसी वचन या धमकी द्वारा या अन्यथा कोई असर अभियुक्त व्यक्ति पर इस उद्देश्य से नहीं डाला जाएगा कि उसे अपनी जानकारी की किसी बात को प्रकट करने या न करने के लिए उत्प्रेरित किया जाए।
