Section 31 Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 in Hindi and English

Section 31 of MV Act 1988 :-  Disqualifications for the grant of conductor's licence -- (1) No person under the age of eighteen years shall hold, or be granted, a conductor's licence.

(2) The licensing authority may refuse to issue a conductor's licence –

(a) if the applicant does not possess the minimum educational qualification;

(b) if the medical certificate produced by the applicant discloses that he is physically unfit to act as a conductor; and

(c) if any previous conductor's licence held by the applicant was revoked.

मोटर यान अधिनियम, 1988 की धारा 31 का विवरण :  -  कंडक्टर अनुज्ञप्ति के दिए जाने के लिए निरर्हताएं -- (1) कोई भी व्यक्ति, जो अठारह वर्ष से कम आयु का है, न तो कंडक्टर अनुज्ञप्ति धारण करेगा और न वह उसे दी जाएगी ।

(2) अनुज्ञापन प्राधिकारी कंडक्टर अनुज्ञप्ति देने से इंकार कर सकेगा--

(क) यदि आवेदक के पास न्यूनतम शैक्षणिक अर्हता नहीं है;

(ख) यदि आवेदक द्वारा पेश किए गए चिकित्सा प्रमाण-पत्र से यह प्रकट होता है कि वह कडक्टर के रूप में कार्य करने के लिए शारीरिक दृष्टि से ठीक हालात में नहीं  है; तथा

(ग) यदि आवेदक द्वारा धारित पहले की कोई कंडक्टर अनुज्ञप्ति प्रतिसंहृत की गई थी।
