Section 252 of CrPC 1973 :- 252.Conviction on plea of guilty. - If the accused pleads guilty, the Magistrate shall record the plea as nearly as possible in the words used by the accused and may, in his discretion, convict him thereon.

दंड प्रक्रिया संहिता 1973 की धारा 252 का विवरण :  -  252. दोषी होने के अभिवाक् पर दोषसिद्धि -- यदि अभियुक्त दोषी होने का अभिवचन करता है। तो मजिस्ट्रेट अभियुक्त का अभिवाक् यथासंभव उन्हीं शब्दों में लेखबद्ध करेगा जिनका अभियुक्त ने प्रयोग किया है और उसके आधार पर उसे, स्वविवेकानुसार, दोषसिद्ध कर सकेगा।
