Section 247 of CrPC 1973 :- 247. Evidence for defence — The accused shall then be called upon to enter upon his defence and produce his evidence; and the provisions of section 243 shall apply to the case.

दंड प्रक्रिया संहिता 1973 की धारा 247 का विवरण :  -  247. प्रतिरक्षा का साक्ष्य -- तब अभियुक्त से अपेक्षा की जाएगी कि वह अपनी प्रतिरक्षा आरंभ करे और अपना साक्ष्य पेश करे और मामले को धारा 243 के उपबंध लागू होंगे।
