Section 226 of CrPC 1973 :- 226. Opening case for prosecution - When the accused appears or is brought before the Court in pursuance of a commitment of the case under section 209, the prosecutor shall open his case by describing the charge brought against the accused and stating by what evidence he proposes to prove the guilt of the accused.

दंड प्रक्रिया संहिता 1973 की धारा 226 का विवरण : - 226. अभियोजन के मामले के कथन का आरंभ - जब अभियुक्त धारा 209 के अधीन मामले की सुपुर्दगी के अनुसरण में न्यायालय के समक्ष हाजिर होता है या लाया जाता है तब अभियोजक अपने मामले का कथन, अभियुक्त के विरुद्ध लगाए गए आरोप का वर्णन करते हुए और यह बताते हुए आरंभ करेगा कि वह अभियुक्त के दोष को किस साक्ष्य से साबित करने की प्रस्थापना करता है।
