Section 210 Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 in Hindi and English



Section 210 of MV Act 1988 :- Courts to send intimation about conviction -- Every Court by which any person holding a driving licence is convicted of an offence under this Act or of an offence in the commission of which a motor vehicle was used, shall send intimation to --

(a) the licensing authority which issued the driving licence, and

(b) the licensing authority by whom the licence was last renewed,

and every such intimation shall state the name and address of the holder of the licence, the licence number, the date of issue and renewal of the same, the nature of the offence, the punishment awarded for the same and such other particulars as may be prescribed.

मोटर यान अधिनियम, 1988 की धारा 210 का विवरण :  -  दोषसिद्धि संबंधी सूचना का न्यायालयों द्वारा भेजा जाना -- प्रत्येक न्यायालय, जिसके द्वारा कोई ऐसा व्यक्ति, जो चालन-अनुज्ञप्ति धारण किए हुए है, इस अधिनियम के अधीन किसी राध के लिए या ऐसे किसी अपराध के लिए, जिसके किए जाने में मोटर यान का उपयोग किया गया था, दोषसिद्ध किया गया है, उसकी सूचना--

(क) उस अनुज्ञापन प्राधिकारी को देगा जिसने वह चालन-अनुज्ञप्ति दी थी, और

(ख) उस अनुज्ञापन प्राधिकारी को देगा जिसके द्वारा उस अनुज्ञप्ति का अंतिम बार नवीकरण किया गया था,

और ऐसी प्रत्येक सूचना में अनुज्ञप्ति धारक का नाम और पता, अनुज्ञप्ति संख्यांक, उसके दिए जाने की तारीख और उसके नवीकरण की तारीख, अपराध का स्वरूप, उसके लिए दिया गया दंड और ऐसी अन्य विशिष्टियां होंगी जो विहित की जाएं ।
