Section 180 Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 in Hindi and English



Section 180 of MV Act 1988 :- Allowing unauthorised persons to drive vehicles -- Whoever, being the owner or person in charge of a motor vehicle, causes, or permits, any other person who does not satisfy the provisions of section 3 or section 4 to drive the vehicle shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months or with fine of five thousand rupees, or with both.

मोटर यान अधिनियम, 1988 की धारा 180 का विवरण :  -  अप्राधिकृत व्यक्तियों को यान चलाने की अनुज्ञा देना -- जो कोई किसी मोटर यान का स्वामी या भारसाधक व्यक्ति होते हुए ऐसे अन्य किसी व्यक्ति से, जो धारा 3 या धारा 4 के उपबंधों की पूर्ति नहीं करता है, यान चलवाएगा या चलाने देगा, वह कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि तीन मास तक की हो सकेगी, या पांच हजार रुपए के जुर्माने से, अथवा दोनों से, दण्डनीय होगा ।
