Section 177 Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 in Hindi and English



Section 177 of MV Act 1988 :-  General provision for punishment of offences -- Whoever contravenes any provision of this Act or of any rule, regulation or notification made thereunder shall, if no penalty is provided for the offence be punishable for the first offence with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, and for any second or subsequent offence with fine which may extend to one thousand and five hundred rupees.

मोटर यान अधिनियम, 1988 की धारा 177 का विवरण :  -  अपराधों के दण्ड के लिए साधारण उपबंध -- जो कोई इस अधिनियम या इसके अधीन बनाए गए किसी नियम, विनियम या अधिसूचना के किसी उपबंध का उल्लंघन करेगा वह जब उस अपराध के लिए कोई शास्ति उपबंधित नहीं है, प्रथम अपराध के लिए जुर्माने से, जो पांच सौ रुपए तक का हो सकेगा, और किसी द्वितीय या पश्चात्वर्ती अपराध के लिए, जुर्माने से, जो एक हजार पांच सौ रुपए तक का हो सकेगा, दंडनीय होगा ।
