Section 136 of CrPC 1973 :- 136. Consequences of his failing to do so - If such person does not perform such act or appear and show cause, he shall be liable to the penalty prescribed in that behalf in section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860,) and the order shall be made absolute.

दंड प्रक्रिया संहिता 1973 की धारा 136 का विवरण :  -  136. उसके ऐसा करने में असफल रहने का परिणाम -- यदि ऐसा व्यक्ति ऐसे कार्य को नहीं करता है या हाजिर होकर कारण दर्शित नहीं करता है, तो वह भारतीय दण्ड संहिता (1860 का 45) की धारा 188 में उस निमित्त विहित शास्ति का दायी होगा और आदेश अंतिम कर दिया जाएगा।
