Section 126 Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 in Hindi and English



Section 126 of MV Act 1988 :- Stationary vehicles -- No person driving or in charge of a motor vehicle shall cause or allow the vehicle to remain stationary in any public place, unless there is in the driver's seat a person duly licensed to drive the vehicle or unless the mechanism has been stopped and a brake or brakes applied or such other measures taken as to ensure that the vehicle cannot accidentally be put in motion in the absence of the driver.

मोटर यान अधिनियम, 1988 की धारा 126 का विवरण :  -  खड़े यान -- कोई भी व्यक्ति, जो मोटर यान चला रहा है या उसका भारसाधक है, उस यान को किसी सार्वजनिक स्थान में उस दशा के सिवाय खड़ा न रखेगा या खड़ा रखने की अनुज्ञा न देगा, जब ड्राइवर की सीट पर ऐसा व्यक्ति है जो उस यान को चलाने के लिए सम्यक् रूप से अनुज्ञप्त है अथवा जब उसकी यांत्रिक क्रिया बंद कर दी गई है और ब्रेक लगा दिया गया है या लगा दिए गए हैं या ऐसे अन्य उपाय कर लिए गए हैं जिनसे यह सुनिश्चित हो गया है कि ड्राइवर की अनुपस्थिति में वह यान घटनावश चल नहीं सकता ।
