Section 101 Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 in Hindi and English

Section 101 of MV Act 1988 :- Operation of additional services by a State transport undertaking in certain circumstances -- Notwithstanding anything contained in section 87, a State transport undertaking may, in the public interest operate additional services for the conveyance of the passengers on special occasions such as to and from fairs and religious gatherings :

Provided that the State transport undertaking shall inform about the operation of such additional services to the concerned Transport Authority without delay.

मोटर यान अधिनियम, 1988 की धारा 101 का विवरण :  -  101. राज्य परिवहन उपक्रम द्वारा कतिपय परिस्थितियों में अतिरिक्त सेवाओं का चलाया जाना -- धारा 87 में किसी बात के होते हुए भी, कोई राज्य परिवहन उपक्रम, लोकहित में, विशेष अवसरों पर, जैसे मेलों और धार्मिक सम्मेलनों की ओर से यात्रियों के प्रवहण के लिए अतिरिक्त सेवाएं चला सकेगा :

परन्तु राज्य परिवहन उपक्रम, संबंधित परिवहन प्राधिकरण को ऐसी अतिरिक्त सेवाओं के चलाए जाने के बारे में अविलम्ब सूचित करेगा ।
