Section 88 The Trade Marks Act, 1999: 

Salaries, allowances and other terms and conditions of service of Chairman, Vice-Chairman and other Members.—

(1) The salaries and allowances payable to, and other terms and conditions of service (including pension, gratuity and other retirement benefits) of the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and other Members shall be such as may be prescribed.

(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), a person who, immediately before the date of assuming office as the Chairman, Vice-Chairman or other Member was in service of Government, shall be deemed to have retired from service on the date on which he enters upon office as the Chairman, Vice-Chairman or other Member.

व्यापार चिह्न अधिनियम, 1999 की धारा 88 का विवरण : 

अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष और अन्य सदस्यों के वेतन, भत्ते और उनकी सेवा के अन्य निबंधन और शर्तें-(1) अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष और सदस्यों को संदेय वेतन और भत्ते तथा उनकी सेवा के अन्य निबन्धन और शर्तें (जिनके अंतर्गत पेंशन, उपदान और अन्य सेवानिवृत्ति फायदे हैं) वे होंगी, जो विहित की जाएं ।

(2) उपधारा (1) में किसी बात के होते हुए भी, ऐसे किसी व्यक्ति के बारे में जो, अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष या अन्य सदस्य के रूप में पद ग्रहण करने की तारीख से ठीक पूर्व सरकारी सेवा में था, यह समझा जाएगा कि वह उस तारीख को, जिसको वह अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष या अन्य सदस्य के रूप में पद ग्रहण करता है, सेवा से निवृत्त हो गया है ।
