Section 86 The Trade Marks Act, 1999: 

Term of office of Chairman, Vice-Chairman and other Members.—The Chairman, Vice-Chairman or other Members shall hold office as such for a term of five years from the date on which he enters upon his office or until he attains,—

(a) in the case of Chairman and Vice-Chairman, the age of sixty-five years; and

(b) in the case of a Member, the age of sixty-two years, whichever is earlier.

व्यापार चिह्न अधिनियम, 1999 की धारा  86 का विवरण : 

अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष और अन्य सदस्यों की पदावधि-अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष या अन्य सदस्य ऐसी तारीख से, जिसको वह अपना पद ग्रहण करते हैं, पांच वर्ष की अवधि तक, या-

(क) अध्यक्ष और उपाध्यक्ष की दशा में पैंसठ वर्ष की आयु प्राप्त होने तक, और

(ख) किसी सदस्य की दशा में बासठ वर्ष की आयु प्राप्त होने तक, इनमें से जो भी पूर्वतर हो, उस हैसियत में अपना पद धारण करेगा ।
