Section 380 of IPC 1860:- Theft in dwelling house, etc. -

Whoever commits theft in any building, tent or vessel, which building, tent or vessel is used as a human dwelling, or used for the custody of property, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine.

आईपीसी, 1860 (भारतीय दंड संहिता) की धारा 380 का विवरण - निवास-गृह, आदि में चोरी -

जो कोई ऐसे किसी निर्माण, तम्बू या जलयान में चोरी करेगा, जो निर्माण, तम्बू या जलयान मानव निवास के रूप में, या संपत्ति की अभिरक्षा के लिए, उपयोग में आता हो, वह दोनों में से किसी भांति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि सात वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, दण्डित किया जाएगा, और जुर्माने से भी दण्डनीय होगा।
