Section 460 IPC in Hindi and English



Section 460 of IPC 1860:- All persons jointly concerned in lurking house-trespass or house-breaking by night punishable where death or grievous hurt caused by one of them -

If, at the time of the committing of lurking house-trespass by night or house-breaking by night, any person guilty of such offence shall voluntarily cause or attempt to cause death or grievous hurt to any person, every person jointly concerned in committing such lurking housetrespass by night or house-breaking by night, shall be punished with imprisonment for life, or with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.

आईपीसी, 1860 (भारतीय दंड संहिता) की धारा 460 का विवरण - रात्रौ प्रच्छन्न गृह-अतिचार या रात्रौ गृहभेदन में संयुक्ततः सम्पृक्त समस्त व्यक्ति दण्डनीय हैं, जबकि उसमें से एक द्वारा मृत्यु या घोर उपहति कारित की हो -

यदि रात्रौ प्रच्छन्न गृह-अतिचार या रात्रौ गृह-भेदन करते समय ऐसे अपराध का दोषी कोई व्यक्ति स्वेच्छया किसी व्यक्ति की मृत्यु या घोर उपहति कारित करेगा या मृत्यु या घोर उपहति कारित करने का प्रयत्न करेगा, तो ऐसे रात्रौ प्रच्छन्न गृह-अतिचार या रात्रौ गृह-भेदन करने में संयुक्ततः संपृक्त हर व्यक्ति, आजीवन कारावास से, या दोनों में किसी भांति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि दस वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, दंडित किया जाएगा और जुर्माने से भी दण्डनीय होगा।
