 Section 489B IPC in Hindi and English



Section 489B of IPC 1860:- Using as genuine, forged or counterfeit currency-notes or bank-notes -

Whoever, sells to, or buys or receives from, any other person, or otherwise traffics in or uses as genuine, any forged or counterfeit currency-note or bank-note, knowing or having reason to believe the same to be forged or counterfeit, shall be punished with imprisonment for life, or with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.

आईपीसी, 1860 (भारतीय दंड संहिता) की धारा 489 ख का विवरण - कूटरचित या कूटकृत करेंसी नोटों या बैंक नोटों को असली के रूप में उपयोग में लाना -

जो कोई किसी कूटरचित या कूटकृत करेंसी नोट या बैंक नोट को, यह जानते हुए, या विश्वास करने का कारण रखते हुए कि वह कूटरचित या कूटकृत है, किसी अन्य व्यक्ति को बेचेगा या उससे खरीदेगा या प्राप्त करेगा या अन्यथा उसका दुर्व्यापार करेगा या असली के रुप में उसे उपयोग में लाएगा, वह आजीवन कारावास से, या दोनों में से किसी भांति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि दस वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, दण्डित किया जाएगा और जुर्माने से भी दण्डनीय होगा।
