 Section 469 IPC in Hindi and English


Section 469 of IPC 1860:-Forgery for purpose of harming reputation -

Whoever commits forgery, intending that the document or electronic record forged shall harm the reputation of any party, or knowing that it is likely to be used for that purpose, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years, and shall also be liable to fine.

आईपीसी, 1860 (भारतीय दंड संहिता) की धारा 469 का विवरण - ख्याति को अपहानि पहुंचाने के आशय से कूटरचना -

जो कोई कूटरचना इस आशय से करेगा कि वह दस्तावेज या इलेक्ट्रानिक अभिलेख जिसकी कूटरचना की जाती है, किसी पक्षकार की ख्याति की अपहानि करेगी, या यह संभाव्य जानते हुए करेगा कि इस प्रयोजन से उसका उपयोग किया जाए, वह दोनों में से किसी भांति के कारावास से जिसकी अवधि तीन वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, दंडित किया जाएगा और जुर्माने से भी दण्डनीय होगा।
