Section 468 IPC in Hindi and English



Section 468 of IPC 1860:- Forgery for purpose of cheating -

Whoever commits forgery, intending that the "[document or electronic record forged] shall be used for the purpose of cheating, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine.


STATE AMENDMENT

Madhya Pradesh - Offence under section 468 is triable by “Court of Session”.

आईपीसी, 1860 (भारतीय दंड संहिता) की धारा 468 का विवरण - छल के प्रयोजन से कूटरचना -

जो कोई कूटरचना इस आशा से करेगा कि वह दस्तावेज या इलेक्ट्रानिक अभिलेख जिसकी कूटरचना की जाती है छल के प्रयोजन से उपयोग में लाई जाएगी, वह दोनों में से किसी भांति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि सात वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, दण्डित किया जाएगा और जुर्माने से भी दण्डनीय होगा।


राज्य संशोधन

मध्यप्रदेश - धारा 468 के अधीन अपराध “सत्र न्यायालय '' द्वारा विचारणीय है।
