Section 357 IPC in Hindi and English



Section 357 of IPC 1860:- Assault or criminal force in attempt wrongfully to confine a person -

Whoever assaults or uses criminal force to any person, in attempting wrongfully to confine that person, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both.

आईपीसी, 1860 (भारतीय दंड संहिता) की धारा 357 का विवरण - किसी व्यक्ति का सदोष परिरोध करने के प्रयत्नों में हमला या आपराधिक बल का प्रयोग -

जो कोई किसी व्यक्ति पर हमला या आपराधिक बल का प्रयोग उस व्यक्ति का सदोष परिरोध करने का प्रयत्न करने में करेगा, वह दोनों में से किसी भाँति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि एक वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, या जुर्माने से, जो एक हजार रुपए तक का हो सकेगा, या दोनों से, दण्डित किया जाएगा।
