 Section 260 IPC in Hindi and English



Section 260 of IPC 1860:-Using as genuine a Government stamp known to be counterfeit -

Whoever uses as genuine any stamp, knowing it to be counterfeit of any stamp issued by Government for the purpose of revenue, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, or with fine, or with both.

आईपीसी, 1860 (भारतीय दंड संहिता) की धारा 260 का विवरण - किसी सरकारी स्टाम्प को, कूटकृत जानते हुए उसे असली स्टाम्प के रूप में उपयोग में लाना -

जो कोई किसी ऐसे स्टाम्प को, जिसे वह जानता है कि वह सरकार द्वारा राजस्व के प्रयोजन के लिए प्रचालित स्टाम्प की कूटकृति है, असली स्टाम्प के रूप में उपयोग में लाएगा, वह दोनों में से किसी भांति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि सात वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, या जुर्माने से, या दोनों से, दण्डित किया जाएगा।
