Section  251 IPC in Hindi and English



Section  251 of IPC 1860:-Delivery of Indian coin, possessed with knowledge that it is altered -

Whoever, having coin in his possession with respect to which the offence defined in section 247 or 249 has been committed, and having known at the time when he became possessed of such coin that such offence had been committed with respect to it, fraudulently or with intent that fraud may be committed, delivers such coin to any other person, or attempts to induce any other person to receive the same, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.

आईपीसी, 1860 (भारतीय दंड संहिता) की धारा 251 का विवरण -  भारतीय सिक्के का परिदान जो इस ज्ञान के साथ कब्जे में आया हो कि उसे परिवर्तित किया गया है -

जो कोई किसी ऐसे सिक्के को कब्जे में रखते हुए, जिसके बारे में धारा 247 या 249 में परिभाषित अपराध किया गया हो, और जिसके बारे में उस समय, जब वह सिक्का उसके कब्जे में आया था, वह यह जानता था कि ऐसा अपराध उसके बारे में किया गया है, कपटपूर्वक, या इस आशय से कि कपट किया जाए, किसी अन्य व्यक्ति को वह सिक्का परिदत्त करेगा या किसी अन्य व्यक्ति को उसे लेने के लिए उत्प्रेरित करने का प्रयत्न करेगा, वह दोनों में से किसी भांति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि दस वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, दण्डित किया जाएगा और जुर्माने से भी दण्डनीय होगा।
