Chamoli District Co-operative Bank Ltd. through its Secretary / Mahaprandhak & Anr. vs Raghunath Singh Rana - Supreme Court Important Judgment 2016 - 

 

On 17th May, 2016, in the case of Chamoli District Co-operative Bank Ltd. through its Secretary / Mahaprandhak & Anr. vs Raghunath Singh Rana & Ors.[Civil Appeal No.2265 of 2011], it was held that compliance of principles of natural justice in disciplinary proceedings “is not a mere formality, more so when the statutory provisions specifically provides that disciplinary proceedings shall be conducted with due observations of the principles of natural justice.”
