 Suzuki Parasrampuria Suitings Private Limited vs The Official Liquidator of Mahendra Petrochemicals Limited - Supreme Court Important Judgment 2018 - 

On 8th October, 2018, in the case of Suzuki Parasrampuria Suitings Private Limited vs The Official Liquidator of Mahendra Petrochemicals Limited (in Liquidation) and Others [Civil Appeal No.10322 of 2018], a three Judge Bench held that “a litigant can take different stands at different times but cannot take contradictory stands in the same case.” It was held that “a party cannot be permitted to approbate and reprobate on the same facts and take inconsistent shifting stands.”
