 Shyam Narayan Chouksey vs Union of India - Supreme Court Important Judgment 2017 - 

 

 On 14th February, 2017, in the case of Shyam Narayan Chouksey vs Union of India [Writ Petition (Civil) No. 855 of 2016], with reference to its earlier order dated 30th November, 2016, it was clarified that when the National Anthem is sung or played in the storyline of a feature film or as a part of the newsreel or documentary, “apart from what has been stated in the order dated 30.11.2016, the audience need not stand.”
