Section 68 of IPC 1860:- Imprisonment to terminate on payment of fine -

The imprisonment which is imposed in default of payment of a fine shall terminate whenever that fine is either paid or levied by process of law.

जुर्माना देने में व्यतिक्रम होने की दशा के लिए अधिरोपित कारावास तब पर्यवसित हो जाएगा, जब वह जुर्माना या तो चुका दिया जाए या विधि की प्रक्रिया द्वारा उद्गृहीत कर लिया जाए।
