Section 22 of IPC 1860:- “Moveable property” -

The words "movable property” are intended to include corporeal property of every description, except land and things attached to the earth, or permanently fastened to anything which is attached to the earth.

आईपीसी, 1860 (भारतीय दंड संहिता) की धारा 22 का विवरण -  "जंगम सम्पत्ति" -

"जंगम सम्पत्ति" शब्दों से यह आशयित है कि इनके अन्तर्गत हर भाँति की मूर्त सम्पत्ति आती है, किन्तु भूमि और वे चीजें, जो भूबद्ध हों या भूबद्ध किसी चीज से स्थायी रूप से जकड़ी हुई हों, इनके अन्तर्गत नहीं आती।
