Section 85A Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 :Where any draft, that is, an order to pay money, drawn by one office of a bank upon another office of the same bank for a sum of money payable to order on demand. purports to be indorsed by or on behalf of the payee, the bank is discharged by payment in due course.

परक्राम्य लिखत अधिनियम, 1881 की धारा 85क का विवरण :  - जहाँ कि कोई ड्राफ्ट अर्थात् धन संदत करने का आदेश, जो कि बैंक के एक कार्यालय द्वारा उसी बैंक के दूसरे कार्यालय पर माँग पर आदेशानुसार देय धन की राशि के लिए लिखा गया है, पानेवाले के द्वारा या निमित्त पृष्ठांकित होना तात्पर्यित है, वहाँ बैंक सम्यक्-अनुक्रम में संदाय द्वारा उन्मोचित हो जाता है ।
